Privacy policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal data

Guido Mobility Services AG is committed to respecting the data protection rights and concerns of everyone who uses our Guido service (the "Service"). Because protecting personal data matters to us, we have drawn up this data protection policy (the "Policy").

§ 1Scope of the Policy

This Policy follows the standards and requirements set out in the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and ensures that we handle your personal data with the utmost care and with respect for your privacy.

§ 2Data collection

We collect the personal data you provide when setting up your account, such as your name, contact details and other necessary information. We may also collect data about how you use the Service in order to improve its quality.

§ 3Use of data

We use your personal data to operate, provide, improve and maintain our Service, to prevent abusive or fraudulent use of it, to personalise and display advertising and other content for you, and for further administrative and internal business purposes.

§ 4Data storage and security

We use appropriate physical, electronic and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. For sending sensitive data or information we generally prefer postal mail, since full data security cannot be guaranteed with a simple email. We recommend that you also send sensitive data by post.

§ 5Categories of data collected

We collect personal data in line with the guidance of the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), ensuring transparency, purpose limitation and data accuracy.

Personally identifiable information (PII)
This may include your name, email address, telephone number and other contact details needed to carry out transactions within the platform.
Vehicle data
If you own a fleet, we may collect information about your vehicles, such as model, make, year of construction, condition and other relevant details. If you run a workshop, we may collect information about your services, availability and prices.
Payment information
We may collect your financial information, such as your bank details or credit card information, in order to process transactions. This data is used solely to carry out transactions within the platform and is stored securely using the highest encryption standards.
Usage data
We collect data on how you interact with our Service, including login times, actions performed within the platform and other usage statistics. This helps us improve the Service, personalise your experience and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Device and browser data
We may collect technical data about the device and browser you use to access our Service, including your device's IP address, operating system, browser type and other related information. We use this data to ensure compatibility and to improve usability across different devices and browsers.
Location data
We may collect your geographic location data in order to improve our Service. This information is used to connect fleet owners with nearby workshops, to offer localised services and to optimise your user experience.

§ 6Sharing of data

We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties. This does not apply to trusted third parties who assist us in operating our Service, conducting our business or providing services to you, provided that these parties undertake to keep this information confidential. Data is shared with or disclosed to recipients, processors or third parties only on a valid legal basis or where a further legal obligation applies.

Bexio

Bubble
We use Bubble.io, a platform provided by Bubble Group, Inc., a company based in the United States, for the development and hosting of our application. Bubble.io may access your data only in order to provide the hosting services we need to deliver the Service, and may not use it for any other purpose. Privacy policy: https://bubble.io/privacy
SendGrid
We use SendGrid, a service provided by Twilio Inc., based in the United States, to send automated emails and text messages to our users. SendGrid may have access to your email address and other necessary data solely in order to enable these communications on our behalf, and may not use it for any other purpose. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., based in the United States, to analyse user behaviour on our website. Google Analytics may have access to your IP address and other relevant data collected through cookies, solely in order to analyse how our website is used. Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity, a web analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation, based in the United States, to analyse user behaviour on our website. Microsoft Clarity may have access to your IP address and other relevant data collected through cookies and other tracking technologies, solely in order to gather detailed website usage statistics. § 7User rights

Under Swiss law, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data.

Right to be informed
You have the right to be informed about the collection and use of your personal data, including the purposes of processing, the retention periods and the recipients to whom the data is disclosed. This is a key transparency requirement under the Data Protection Act (FADP).
Right of access
You have the right to access your personal data and supplementary information, so that you can be aware of and verify the lawfulness of the processing.
Right to rectification
You have the right to have inaccurate personal data corrected, or completed if it is incomplete.
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
You can request that the data we hold about you be deleted from our records.
Right to restrict processing
You have the right to request the restriction or deletion of the processing of your personal data.
Right to data portability
You have the right to obtain and reuse your personal data for your own purposes across different services.
Right to object
In certain circumstances you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, and thereby to ask us to stop processing it.
Rights regarding automated decision-making and profiling
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, where this produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you.

We use cookies and similar technologies to provide our Service and to collect data. Cookies are small text files placed on your device to store data that can be read by a web server in the same domain that placed the cookie.

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by amending the "last updated" date at the top of this Policy.
